AUTISTIC ART EXHIBIT

A very good friend of mine has a 21-year old son who is autistic. He is also very hard of hearing but can speak pretty good. Anyway, I came across the ASA (Autism Society of America) website http://www.autism-society.org/. Besides very useful information on their site, they are also showing artwork by autistic people and invite you to download yours! Go to http://www.autism-society.org/site/PageServer?pagename=art_exhibit and upload your pictures now! Scan your pictures or take pictures with your digital camera and pop them into your computer. Go to the website, upload your pictures, then email all your friends and relatives that your loved one's work is on exhibit by the ASA!

Mindy - I better see something by Jason on the site, soon! Love ya!

If anyone is touched by autism, another very important health and wellness organization to get help for autism is the ASN, Autism Support Network, which has a wonderful website allowing people touched by autism, Asperbergers, Rett Syndrome, Childhood Disintegrative Disorder, and Pervasive Developmental Disorders to connect with each other. The ASN's community for online autism support is doctors, parents, people with autism and loved ones from all over the world - USA, Canada, England and India. There is a great sharing of information, chats, blogs and links to resources. The ASN is a great supplement to your current health care and education resources. Check them out at http://www.AutismSupportNetwork.com/.
